I have always been an artist. I was told that even at the young age of 2 years old I would carry around art supplies. Over the years my love of art only grew. I began doing paintings for friends and family. I would paint anything that I could get my hands on; canvas, walls, windows, hand blown eggs and even kids.

After my last child was born my sister in law suggested I do face painting for birthday parties. I was intrigued. After my first job I was hooked. I was able to combine my two favorite things, kids and art, into a career. I have owned Funny Faces since 2003 and LOVE it. My greatest accomplishment so far has been painting for the Discovery Channel for Shark Week. I feel so blessed to be chosen for this event!

I have a degree in Child Development with Love & Logic and Nurtured Heart training that has helped me with my career of working with children. I have over 20 years experience and love every minute of it.  I have done everything from working in the classroom with infant care through Jr. High, teaching art classes, working at public preschools and even owning my own day care. In 2011 I opened my own preschool called Creative Outlets. I continue to look forward to my future in working with children and art.
